From March 11 to 13, in the Montes de María region, a space for encounter and reflection will open up for the 13th edition of Diálogos del Territorio (Dialogues of the Territory): "Peace, a human privilege?". This is a learning laboratory that seeks to broaden our perspective on peace, taking it beyond the purely human.

This event is organized by the Sembrando Paz Foundation and the Barichara Regenerativa Foundation, through the work of the Ojo de Agua Cultural Foundation and the Montes de María Regional Peace Space. It is supported by TerritoriA, the Film Development Fund, the CNACC, Proimágenes Colombia, and the Ministry of Cultures.
The dialogues will explore the relationship between peace and nature, focusing on the ecosystems of the Tropical Dry Forest and the processes in the Morrocoy Reserve and Barichara. How can we forge an alliance with the beings of nature to stop the violence against the Tropical Dry Forest? Is this possible? Is this desirable? Are there any precedents?
The tour of the Morrocoy Reserve will allow us to explore different perspectives: from those who dream of its conservation to those who see it as a challenge to their agricultural and livestock activities. This open and inclusive dialogue will help us envision paths toward the regeneration of the territory and the building of peace, in partnership with nature.
